松石隆 Professor MATSUISHI Takashi Fritz, Ph. D.


1964年10月生 東京都生まれ、北海道大学 大学院水産科学研究院 教授 博士(農学 東京大学)

1989年に東京大学教養学部基礎科学科第二(システム基礎科学)卒業後、東京大学海洋研究所資源解析部門で水産資源解析を学ぶ。博士後期課程を中退し、1993年4月に北海道大学水産学部に赴任。1996年に東京大学より博士(農学)を取得。

水産資源管理・資源量推定法について先端的な研究をしているほか、ネズミイルカをはじめとする鯨類の座礁・混獲に関する研究も推進している。東南アジアにおける漁業管理に関して,講師・専門家として,各国からの招聘を受けている。

北海道、東北、日本海海域の水産資源評価に関する公的会議の委員を歴任。日本セトロジー研究会会誌編集委員長,日本水産学会編集副委員長,国際漁業学会,日本哺乳類学会,漂着物学会,勇魚会会員。

特定非営利活動法人ストランディングネットワーク北海道理事長。北海道大学鯨類研究会顧問。

私的にはフルート演奏を行い,今までにCD5枚をリリース。

Born in October 1964 in Tokyo, Japan, he is a Professor at the Faculty of Fisheries Science, Hokkaido University.

After graduating from the Department of Natural and Artificial Systems, College of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo, in 1989, he studied fisheries stock assessment at Ocean Research Institute as a Master’s and Doctoral course student in the Department of Fishery Sciences, Division of Agricultural Sciences, the University of Tokyo. During his doctoral course, he was appointed to the Faculty of Fisheries, Hokkaido University, in April 1993 and received his PhD (Agricultural Science) from the University of Tokyo in 1996.

In addition to conducting advanced research on fisheries resource management and stock assessment, he is also promoting research on stranding and bycatch of cetaceans and focused on the harbour porpoise. Various countries have invited him as a lecturer and expert on fisheries management in Southeast Asia.

He has experience as a member of the public committees on fisheries resource assessment. He is the Editor in Chief of Japan Cetology, a senior editor of Fisheries Science and Nippon Suisan Gakkaishi, and an editorial board member of the Journal of Fisheries and Environment. He also is the President of the NPO Stranding Network Hokkaido. Advisor to the Hokkaido University Cetacean Research Society.

He performs flute at a professional level and has released five CDs.
